Submission is uncomplicated. An additional help is that you are allowed to preview and edit what will be shown. This means that after you enter your URL, Splat quickly looks at your site and in a couple of seconds reports back what it will enter. Oddly, one site that I have submitted many places was said to be unfindable by its spider (all the rest were very successfully found and previewed).
